Sandra Kay Kreinbring, age 72, died Saturday March 4, 2017 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. There will be an informal gathering of friends and family at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence on Saturday March 11, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. Sandy was born on August 27, 1944 in Moline, IL. to Herbert and Cora Smith Johnson. She married Kim Kreinbring on August 22, 1964 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence. Survivors include her husband Kim; sons Kyle (Christina)of Davenport and Koby (Heather)of Badhomburg, Germany; grandchildren Kole, Kade, Kaleb and Hattie Kreinbring; and brothers Dick (Steph) Johnson of Estero, FL. and Jay (Steph) Johnson of Port Byron, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sandy was devoted to her family and she was a friend to everyone. Her family was the most important thing to her, never missing her children or grandchildren's events, as she was their #1 fan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House or the Ronald McDonald House.
