Sarah A. Dunn, age 64 of Wheatland, passed away on October 17, 2025 at her home. A celebration of Sarah's life will be held at a later date.

Sarah was born June 1, 1961 to Donald and Rita (Schmacht) Van Theemsche. She married Roger Dunn on April 28, 1984. He passed away on July 13, 2020.

Sarah is survived by her son Ben Rico of Davenport; stepson Roger D. (Sherri) Dunn of Lowden; grandsons Kyle, Caleb, Christopher, and Matthew; and brothers Bryce and Kevin of Manchester.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister Sue.

Sarah's passion in life was animals. She started out working part time at Fejervary Park in Davenport and eventually became the Zookeeper, working there for over 20 years. Sarah enjoyed her cats, riding horses, and reading.
