Stanley M. Prine, age 51, of Lowden, Iowa, died February 3, 2008, at home after a lengthy illness. Stanley was born May 22, 1956, in Davenport, Iowa to Basil and Eileen (Jones) Prine. Stanley was married on June 12, 1976 at Loose Park in Kansas City, Missouri to Sherry Murray. Stanley was a member of the Laborers Local 309. He was a over-the-road truck driver. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM and from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 7, at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland. Following visitation the body will be cremated. There will be no services. Stanley is survived by his mother Eileen of Squires, Missouri; wife Sherry; son Scot of Lowden; daughter Sheri (Jason) Birks of DeWitt; 2 grandchildren Cody Lee and Kyle Scot; brothers Jesse of Davenport, Randy (Lorna) of Walcott, and Scott (Jackie) of Wasola, Missouri; sisters Cindy (Bill) Williams of Wasola, Missouri, Ruth (Aaron) Taber of Fordland, Missouri, Patti (Terry) Watts of DeWitt; and many nieces and nephews. Stanley was preceded in death by father.
