Steve Swenson Klatt, age 83 of Olin, passed away on Thursday October 29, 2026 at his home. Per Steve’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services.

Surviving Steve are his wife Chrystal; children Eric Klatt of Clarence and Nicole (Brian) Tenley of Olin; grandchildren Austin Tenley, Tyler Klatt (Mazie Rubner), Abigail (Jason) Hansen, Trae Klatt (Maddi Decker) and Tiffany Klatt; great grandchildren Saige and Jeremy Hansen; sister Sybil Klatt of Monticello, WI; and daughter-in-law Carrie Klatt of Anamosa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Charlotte Klatt and son, Michael.

Steve was a loving father and grandfather who cherished his family and the time spent making memories with those he loved. He especially enjoyed fishing on Leech Lake, where he found peace and happiness in the outdoors.

Steve was a devoted member of the United Methodist Church in Morley and took great pride in serving his community. He was a member of the Olin Town Council, the Olin American Legion, and proudly served as Master of the Olin Masonic Lodge. Steve also served his country honorably in the United States Army.
