Susan A. Hamilton, age 69 of Wheatland, passed away at her home on Saturday April 17, 2021. Memorial services will be held at Christian Free Lutheran Church in Wheatland on Saturday April 24 at 11:00 AM. There will be a lunch and time of fellowship following the service in the church basement. Burial will be at a later date in the Elwood Cemetery. Sue was born on August 6, 1951 in Davenport to Charles and Luella (Serk) Hutcheson. She married David Hamilton on June 11, 1977 at the Calamus Lutheran Church. He passed away on November 22, 2019. She is survived by her son Jason (Jenny) of Donahue; daughter Jenny Caes of Davenport; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; mother Luella Buri of Davenport; sisters Sharon Stewart of New Liberty, Carol (Roy) Venhorst of Bettendorf, Nancy (J.D.) Miles of Abilene, TX., Debbie (Dan) Wendt of Wisconsin Dells, WI., and Tammy (Herschel) Anderson of Pleasant Valley; and brothers Brad (Cheryl) Hutcheson and Patrick Hutcheson of Alabama, Dwight Buri of Des Moines, and Tom Buri of Davenport. Sue was preceded in death by her father; son Ben; and husband Dave. Sue was an energetic volunteer for the town of Wheatland.
