Ted R. Sanger, age 62 of Cedar Rapids and formerly of Clarence, passed away suddenly in his home from complications of pulmonary fibrosis on Thursday April 9, 2020. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. The family will have a private graveside service at St. John's Cemetery in Clarence.
Ted was born July 18, 1957 to Raymond and Elaine Boettcher Sanger in Davenport, Iowa.
Survivors include his sisters; Ellen (Melvin) Krause of Cedar Rapids, Sally Meyer of Marion, Peggy (Richard III) Prochaska of Cedar Rapids, and many nieces and nephews.
Ted served his country in the Army and was a member of the Clarence American Legion Post 286. He is also credited with starting the Clarence Croquet Association.
