Velma June Rich, age 63, passed away on Friday March 18, 2016 at Premier Estates in Muscatine, where she had resided the past 10 months. Honoring Velma's wishes, there will be a private family graveside service at Pine Hill Cemetery in Wheatland at a later date. Velma was born on September 9, 1952 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Everett Lee and Greta Rhea (Baccon) Rich. She graduated from Wheatland Community High School in 1974 and attended Muscatine Community College. Velma worked at CDS Global Services in Wilton for 30 years, where she retired from. She was also an active member of the Wilton Baptist Church, and loved to read, play games, and watch TV. Velma will be missed by her family, Everett Lee Rich of DeWitt; Doug and Nellie (Rich) Medinger of Camanche; Gibby Lee Rich of New Port Rickey, FL; three nieces; one great niece; and friends and family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Greta; brother, Mickey; and niece, Heather. The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and prayers.
