Chapman Funeral Home began in Clarence in 1947, founded by Paul Sr. and Lavonne Chapman. They later expanded with a Wheatland location in 1955.
After Paul Sr. and Lavonne retired in 1977, their son Paul Jr. took over the business. In 2011, Paul Jr. passed the funeral homes on to his son Dan, who continues their family tradition of service.
